Why San Diego State will win?
With both Christian Chapman and Juwan Washington, both out with injuries, San Diego State will need Ryan Agnew and Chase Jasmin to step up and play really well. Last game, Jasmin had 16 carries for 94 yards. While Agnew was 12-22 for 176 yards and two touchdowns.
The Aztecs have a pretty strong front seven, that will go against the pretty, balanced Bronco offense. Led by linebacker Kyahva Tezino and defensive end Anthony Luke who had 10 tackles last game vs Eastern Michigan.
Also, one bright spot in the secondary was Darren Hall who had four tackles and an interception which earned him the Mountain West Player of the Week during the Eastern Michigan Game.
Why Boise State will win?
Quarterback Brett Rypien is having a phenomenal season throwing for 1,389 yards with 12 touchdowns against 0 interceptions. This will be a tough matchup against the Aztecs defense on the road. Another star player on offense is running back Alexander Mattison who has carried the ball 59 times for 281 yards and four touchdowns.
On defense, the Broncos have only allowed 21.2 points per game. One of their stellar players on defense is defensive end Jabril Frazier. The captain of the Broncos defense has pretty well which included 2 sacks against Oklahoma State.
This will be a hard fought battle between the Aztecs and the Broncos. However, I do have the Aztecs upsetting the Broncos and getting revenge.
