SERIES RECORD: Boise State leads the series 3-2. In their last meeting on October 14, 2017, Boise State snapped the Aztecs’ 6-0 record at SDCCU Stadium with a 31-14 victory.
The Aztecs come fresh off of a well-deserved bye week following four out-of-conference games including two contests against ranked Pac-12 teams. During three of those games, quarterback Christian Chapman was sidelined. He’ll miss at least six weeks with a slight MCL tear from a low, late hit against Sacramento State. In addition, running back rising star Juwan Washington was also sidelined for six weeks due to a fractured collarbone against Eastern Michigan.
The Broncos, like the Aztecs are 3-1. Their only loss comes compliments of Oklahoma State. The Aztecs’ only loss occurred during their season opener against #14 Stanford. While the Broncos are relatively healthy, the Aztecs have shown a lot of grit winning three straight with reserve quarterback Ryan Agnew at the helm, and Chase Jasmin stepping in as lead tailback.
Here’s what San Diego State can do to secure their fourth straight win of 2018 against Boise State.
