MWC Wire Top 25 Countdown: #22 Trey Porter
The No. 22 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is Nevada senior forward Trey Porter.
Porter is a 6-11, 230-pound forward by the way Woodbridge, Virginia. The high-flying athlete spent his first three collegiate seasons with George Mason and Old Dominion before heading to Nevada as a graduate transfer.
Porter averaged 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game last year, starting 31 times for the 25-win Monarchs.
With the Wolf Pack, Porter is expected to start immediately in one of the most talented and deepest rosters in America. Look for plenty of highlight finishes around the rim this season in Reno.
