MWC Wire Top 25 Countdown: #23 Zach Haney
The No. 23 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is Boise State senior forward Zach Haney.
Haney enters his final year of collegiate ball after averaging 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game as a junior. Despite just one start in each of his underclassmen seasons, Haney appeared in the BSU starting lineup 32 times in ’17-18.
With Haney, Boise State has a 6-11 post who brings a commanding presence to the Bronco frontcourt. Haney poured in 17 on 8-of-10 shooting and added seven rebounds in BSU’s thrilling win over Oregon in Eugene last December. The Texas native will have two more chances to follow up his breakout performance against the Ducks in non-conference play.
