MWC Wire Top 25 Countdown: #24 Nate Grimes
The No. 24 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is Fresno State junior forward Nate Grimes.
Grimes is a 6-8, 200-pound forward from Las Vegas entering his third season with the Bulldogs. After a quiet freshman year, Grimes enjoyed a successful sophomore campaign, averaging 4.6 points per game in just 12.5 minutes a night, converting 63.3 percent of his field goal attempts.
Each of the four times Grimes played more than 20 minutes in 2017-18, he scored in double figures. With Fresno State losing Bryson Williams and Terrell Carter in the frontcourt, look for Grimes to be one of the league’s breakout players this upcoming season.
- 24) Nate Grimes, Fresno State
- 25) Noah Robotham, UNLV
