MWC Wire Top 25 Countdown: #25 Noah Robotham
The No. 25 player in the MWC Wire Top 25 Basketball Countdown is UNLV senior guard Noah Robotham.
Robotham, an Akron transfer, expects to start immediately at point guard for the Runnin’ Rebels, the second consecutive year Marvin Menzies’ group will be led by a transfer ballhandler. The 6-1 guard from Las Vegas returns home after averaging 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in three years with the Zips.
With Robotham, UNLV picks up a veteran guard who can hit from the perimeter and facilitate the Rebel offense. Robotham also maintains a willingness to draw fouls and convert at the line, where he’s a 76.9 percent free throw shooter over his career.
Robotham is a former teammate of Antino Jackson, an ex-Zip who completed his career as New Mexico’s starting point guard a year ago, averaging 10.4 points and 4.6 assists per game.
