2018 Week 1 AP Rankings: Boise State Climbs
Broncos move up in first AP poll.
The Mountain West is getting some respect in the latest AP poll with Boise State rising up a few spots to No. 20 after easily defeated what is expected to be a pretty good Troy football team. That win, coupled with a few other ranked teams losing, put the Broncos at the 20th spot in the rankings and the second-highest ranked Group of Five team and are one spot behind UCF which is at 19.
Hawaii is off to a blazing 2-0 start and they earned three votes and Fresno State’s utter crushing over Idaho by scoring 79 in the win earn a single 25th place vote.
