Nevada will host BYU to open the 2018-19 season as part of a home-and-home series, per reports. The game will take place in Reno on Tuesday, November 6.
The date of the return game in Provo is yet to be announced.
This is the third game that BYU has scheduled against a Mountain West opponent for this year’s non-conference slate. In addition to the November 6 matchup against Nevada, BYU will also face UNLV on December 15 and San Diego State on December 22.
BYU was 24-11 last season, finishing third in the WCC behind Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga.
Nevada reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament in March, defeating Texas and Cincinnati as a No. 7 seed. Its 29 wins tied a school record.
