The semifinals of the Mountain West are in the books and the title game is an unlikely event as it is the No. 5 seeded San Diego State and No. 3 New Mexico is in the championship game.
This title game will cause a winning streak to end. The Aztecs have won eight in a row and the Lobos have won seven straight. Each team is playing extremely well and made easy work in each of the semifinal games on Friday night.
