Nevada Enters Associated Press Top Poll
The Wolf Pack come in ranked at 23rd
Wolf Pack are ranked in the top 25
The Nevada Wolf Pack are ranked in the Associated Press top 25 after its big home win over Boise State and are ranked 23rd. This is the second time that the Wolf Pack have been ranked. They earned the honor heading in late December but fell out in one week after losing at Texas Tech and a neutral site game in Los Angeles to TCU.
This time around the Wolf Pack would like to stick around and even rise in the rankings for the next few weeks. Topping Boise State on Saturday, 74-68, pushed the Wolf Pack into the rankings as has the current seven-game winning streak.
However, the Wolf Pack need to be ready this week on Wednesday as they have just one game and it is on the road at Wyoming which is a much better team in Laramie and has a win over Boise State.
Speaking of the Broncos, they are receiving two votes in this latest poll.
