Austin Corbett earns a Senior Bowl roster spot.

The Senior Bowl handed out its first slate of invitees to its All-Star game and Nevada offensive linemanMichael Gallup was amongst this group which will head to Mobile, Alabama, for a week of practices which lead of to the January 27th game.

Corbett was named a second-team All-Mountain West offensive lineman last year and this year he was predicted as a preseason first-team player. His size certainly helps him out as he stands tall at 6-feet-4 and comes in weighing 305 pounds, both of those measurables are ideal for the NFL.

Numbers do not tell the whole story with Corbett. The Wolf Pack offense has had a poor rushing attack and some of that can be attributed to a poor offensive line, but in this case it seems more of inexperience at the running back position as James Butler transferred on July 4 to Iowa for his final year. However, Corbett is a reason that the Wolf Pack are fourth in the Mountain West in sacks allowed at 16.

Going up against equal talent and in front of a lot of college coaches is what could allow Corbett to show what he has when going up against better talent.

The Senior Bowl game is played in Mobile, Alabama, and takes place on January 27.
