UNLV wide receiver Devonte Boyd had a very good carer with the Rebels and he is now getting the chance to show off his skills at the East-West Shrine game.
Boyd is the 16th Rebel to be invited to play in this all-star game since 2014 when offensive lineman Brett Boyko earned an invitation.
During his time in a UNLV uniform he earned a lot of awards including being named as Mountain West freshman of the year, was a freshman All-American and named to multiple all-Mountain West teams in his career.
Boyd is considered one of the best wide receivers in Rebel history with a career that had 197 career receptions, 18 touchdowns and over 2,300 yards.
Now he gets the chance to suit up against some of the best defensive backs in the country and gets coached by an NFL staff which will definitely help his draft stock.
The game is played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on Jan. 20 and airs on NFL Network with a 3 p.m. ET kick.
