Round 1 starts Thursday night

The Mountain West has a very good chance of getting two players selected in the first round of the NFL Draft with Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen and Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch.

Allen has the potential to go No. 1 overall to the Cleveland Browns but for sure will be taken before the middle of the first-round to a QB-needy team. As for Vander Esch, he has been moving steadily up draft boards and is likely to go anywhere from the late teens to the early 20s of the first-round.
