What’s new peaks can the Wyoming native reach?
Mountain West Wire’s countdown of the conference’s best players returns once more to the stout Wyoming defense, where Logan Wilson comes in at #9, the highest-ranked linebacker in this year’s top 50.
Coming off a Freshman All-American season in 2016, Wilson did not disappoint in his sophomore performance last fall. He finished with 119 tackles, two forced fumbles, a sack and an interception, securing a spot on the second-team all-conference defense.
2018 will be Wilson’s third straight year anchoring the Cowboys at middle linebacker, and though it’s hard to imagine how his unit could improve upon allowing a conference-best 17.5 points per game and 4.67 yards per play, bet on Wilson to once again have a major impact on Wyoming’s fortunes this fall.
