A rematch of last year’s title game.

Fresno State and Boise State meet again.
The Mountain West title game is set after Boise State’s win over Utah State in a defacto Mountian Division title game, 33-24. Fresno State clinched the week prior after defeating San Diego State.
The championship game not only will be a rematch between Boise State and Fresno State, and on the blue turf, but it will be the fourth time in a 12-month period that these two teams will be playing each other.
Boise State has gone 2-1, winning both times at home and the biggest win of all was the 2017 Mountain West title game. All three of the games have been close with the Bulldogs winning at home by a score of 28-17 in 2017 and that was the largest margin of victory over the prior three games.
The two Broncos wins have come by three and seven points. Expect the title game to have a similar close outcome.

This game has more than just a conference championship on the line but there is a shot that a New Year’s Six bowl game could open itself up if Memphis can upset UCF in the American championship game.
