Why UNLV Will Win

The Fighting Illini are a program in the middle of a rebuild under first year coach Brad Underwood, but that does not mean this will be an easy game for UNLV.  They are led by two talented front court players in Leron Black and Michael Finke, who are both averaging in double figures, and UNLV has struggled recently defending the post.  However, if McCoy and Juiston can contain this duo, while keeping up their normal level of production, UNLV should be able to secure the win, as they are the superior team when it comes to all three guard spots.  Also, the fact that Illinois likes to play at a fast tempo will help the Runnin’ Rebels, because they are at their best playing fast and in transition.
