Why Wyoming Will Win

A pair of 6-2 foes go at it Wednesday night when the South Carolina Gamecocks host the Wyoming Cowboys. Wyoming enters the game having snuck past Drake 96-89 in double overtime last Saturday. Alan Herndon led the Pokes with a career-high 32, exactly one-third of the Wyoming offensive output. On Wednesday, Wyoming hopes to secure its second true road win of the season against a power conference opponent. The Cowboys knocked off Oregon State in Corvallis earlier in the season, and a victory against South Carolina would be the first top 100 non-conference KenPom victory of the season. Points could be tough to come by, as the Gamecocks rank 14th in the nation in adjusted defensive efficiency.
