Nevada is one of college basketball’s final 13 unbeaten teams

The Nevada Wolf Pack cracked the AP top 25 Monday, the first Mountain West team to do so since Boise State was ranked in the final regular season poll of the 2014-15 season. Nevada ranked #22 in the latest AP poll.

Nevada (8-0) is off to an undefeated start to the season, notching quality victories over Rhode Island and Davidson at home while recording four wins on the road – the most in the NCAA this season.

Upcoming this week for Nevada is two major matchups against power conference opponents. The Wolf Pack take on Texas Tech in Lubbock on Tuesday night and TCU in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on Friday. Both teams were ranked in last week’s AP poll and expect to be tournament teams in March. TCU is currently ranked #20.

Nevada was last ranked in the final AP poll of the 2006-07 season.
