Michael Gallup earns a Senior Bowl roster spot.

The Senior Bowl handed out its first slate of invitees to its All-Star game and Colorado State wide receiver Michael Gallup was amongst this group which will head to Mobile, Alabama, for a week of practices which lead of to the January 27th game.

Gallup is very deserving to go to arguably the best All-Star bowl game. He is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award and is expected to be taken fairly early in the 2018 NFL Draft. Typically those who head to the Senior Bowl end up getting drafted.

He catches nearly everything throw his way and it shows as he currently leads the nation in total receiving yards and is second in yards per game.

“This is a special honor for a young man who represents our program in a humble way in everything he does,” said Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo. “He would tell you that it takes an entire team for one player to shine, and our football program can take great pride in seeing Michael receive this honor.”

Gallup is the 16th Colorado State player to earn an invite to the Senior Bowl.
