Why Colorado State Will Win
Colorado State might have to gear up for a bit more high-paced version of basketball on Friday. Tulane ranks 38th in adjusted tempo, averaging 78.5 possessions in its first two games. The Green Wave own one of the tallest rotations in the country, coming in at 23rd in the nation in average height, per KenPom. CSU needs to play its game and not allow Tulane’s perimeter shooting trio of Cameron Reynolds, Melvin Frazier and Ray Ona Embo to get comfortable from three-point range. Tulane forward Blake Paul is third nationally in block percentage, so smaller CSU guards and wings need to be careful around the rim. Look for Prentiss Nixon to take over in the first game of the Jamaica Classic.
KenPom Line
Colorado State -3, o/u: 153
Score Prediction
Colorado State 77, Tulane 74
