The Broncos get revenge against the Bulldogs, but at home.

The Mountain West title game has been set for over a week between Boise State and Fresno State, but the host location was up in the air. Oh, the two teams also played in Fresno on the final weekend of the regular season, and the first round went to the Bulldogs.

However, to host the Mountain West title game the first distinction is if any team is ranked in the College Football Playoff, but since the Broncos lost and will not be ranked this week the next tie breaker is used. Next in line is not head-to-head but it is using the old BCS computer ratings and that heavily favors Boise State.

Heading into the final game the Broncos had an average rating of 25 while the Bulldogs were at 50, and that edge was enough to allow Boise State to host the conference title game despite losing to Fresno State.

The final computer ratings had Boise State at 30.25 and Fresno State at 34.25.
