Fresno State converted just six field goals in the second half

Former New Mexico Lobo Elijah Brown led all scorers with 20 points as Oregon came from behind to down Fresno State, 68-61

Jahmel Taylor nailed five three-pointers and finished with 19 points. Deshon Taylor also added 19 for the Bulldogs.

Fresno State led the entire first half, maintaining a 38-28 advantage at the intermission. The Bulldogs led by nine, 51-42, after a Bryson Williams jumper with 12:15 left in the second period.

Then, Oregon came alive.

The Ducks went on a 24-3 run to gain a sizable 66-54 lead in the closing minutes. Fresno State missed all 12 of its field goal attempts in that 11 minute span. Rodney Terry’s team had 10 turnovers and made just six of its 25 field goal attempts in the final 20 minutes.

Fresno State’s seven-game winning streak came to an end Saturday night, as the Bulldogs wrap up non-conference play against non-DI Cal State Monterey Bay on Monday night.
